When Sony reached out and asked me to write an article about the various gear I use for photography and filmmaking, I jumped at the opportunity.
The opening reception for my exhibition at OCAF was this past Friday and the turnout was fantastic. A huge thanks to so many of you who came out to see my work and talk to me about my passion. It was a great opportunity to finally put faces with names and chat with many of you whom I have corresponded with online, but never met in real life.
I was honored when the Extra Special People organization here in Watkinsville reached out to me to teach a photography workshop at their end-of-summer retreat in Asheville. They are truly an amazing organization that makes a tremendous impact on so many lives throughout Georgia
I am really proud to announce that three of my prints are now hanging in the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. These very large prints (two of them are 5 feet in length) will be found in the ticketing area of the terminal near the entrance.
I had a great time leading a workshop for 17 members of the North Georgia Photography club. We met at Hurricane Shoals for a few hours of photography and compositions, followed by a 2-hour editing session where I covered the essentials of Lightroom along with some more advanced techniques using the power of Photoshop.
I am pleased to announce that my very popular image “Barns at Sunrise” was selected for the 46th annual Juried Exhibition at the Lyndon House Gallery in Athens. The exhibition is now open and will run through June 26th.
I’m very excited to share that I now have an assortment of signed prints, along with signed copies of my book, at the new Farm 441 store in Watkinsville. It is one of the few locations that have signed copies of my book and it also has plenty of other art, food, flowers, and some delicious home made ice cream.
